The Academic’s Dilemma: Balancing Passion and Profession

 Mr. Robert is an aspiring writer who works as a university lecturer. Recently, he has been deeply focused on writing novels. He has submitted two manuscripts to publishers, but unfortunately, both were rejected. Despite this, Mr. Robert still dreams of the day his books will provide for his needs. He doesn't aim to be a world-famous author or a millionaire; he simply hopes that by writing twenty books, he can afford a modest house, a car, and his children's education.

His motivation came from an entrepreneur and author who claimed that nineteen books were enough to support a family. This mentor suggested that one only needs an hour a day to write. Inspired, Mr. Robert went even further, spending more than an hour on his manuscripts. However, this led him to neglect his primary responsibilities as a lecturer. His workload was heavy, and he should have been prioritizing the research relevant to his field.

Mr. Robert soon realized he had taken the wrong steps. He should have prioritized his career, especially since his novels had yet to earn a single cent. Nevertheless, he refused to give up and continued to write. At his lowest point, he realized how difficult it truly is to produce a book. He concluded that he needed to synchronize his writing with his profession. Instead of keeping them separate, he decided to write about his experiences and expertise in his field, turning his professional knowledge into his next book.

How to Make money without degree

 I heard some college or degree cannot pay the  student loan. It is difficult today to pay off the student loan due they have not good job. Good jobs, meaning or get salary that is enough. Enough size is undefinable. I also diffilcut to determine the enough. However, the enough could be meaning you can fulfill your need and pay your debt. 

Some people think they can pay the student loan after graduating but they cannot. They have to pay the debt. Finally, they can sell the asset to pay the debt.

Writing a business that you can do without leaving or quit your job now

Last article, I write about opening a business without quit a job. One of the alternatives the business is writing. You do not have to quit jobs when you decide to write. You just need to set one or two hours for writing. You can make hundred or thousand dollars.

First you need to build a blog or you can write for some website. Unfortunately, most paid article website has been closed because they cannot generate money from the adsense. You can tray to build a blog.

Most the amateur writer cannot sell the book for the first time unless they are a talented writer. The publisher do not want to print the book because it is very expensive. The risk that book not sold out is so high. As a businessman, he will avoid the risk.

I prefer to write at blog to make money. Today, I have not get money yet but someday the people will know me and they want to print my blog. I also put adsense in my blog too. Once people click the as, I will receive some penny. The blog has not so much visitors. I dream the blog will generate thousand visitors a day. I also put the pay[al widget so the visitors can donate to my blog.

It is not difficult to write 300 word article, I juts need 10-20 minutes for that. I usually do before teaching. I am not bothered doing the article and it is very easy.

How to work less to get more money

This title is fun to me. In my mind, we have to work hard to make money. We must work harder to get more money. After you read the article; you must realize that we could “work less” to get more money. Some people work for 8 hours and do not get much money. Then he thinks to add the work hours but he does not get much money.

The point is they must work that can make money. Here are the ways to work for more money:

1.       Work first for the jobs that make money

Some people just browse in front of the led but it cannot make more money but they just spend much time at the computers. Supposedly, they prioritize the jobs or activist that makes money. They are better make an article or make a paper rather than the browsing. Certainly we also need browse the internet but we should limit it.

2.       Work for the jobs that can make money in future.

After finishing your jobs that make money, you can also consider to work that can make money in future. Perhaps you want to write a blog or a book. The blog may not give you much money today but someday your blog will generate much money for you.  You can also visit the social media to promote you as the writer or as a professional. Someday they may hire you for a certain project.

3.       To do the list

A human min is limited and sometimes they forget to do the task. I believe you must have a task that you should do. You should prioritize the jobs that make money than you place the activity that make money in future.

4.       Hire the assistant

To be honest, I am lazy to entry the data and make a presentation. If you have money and you are busy, you can hire a assistant that do these jobs. These jobs make you tired and you lose a precious time that you can do for other activity.

Fr the beginner whose just start the new business, we must do all the jobs. It is good for us to know all the business that we have. After the business grows, you should consider employing other people. By hire people, you have a good act for other people who need money for him or his family.

How to manage less money

Most people just make less money. They are difficult to reach the financial freedom because they need to cover their spending. Sometimes they borrow other people money to cover their spending.

Off course they must pay back the loan when the debt due. Sometimes they must pay the interest that is higher than the principal.

The people should not borrow to cover their spending. They must manage the money well so they can cover all the spending.  The keys of manage less money is to strict the spending. So we have to:

1. Create a budget

Budget may not help you to become rich but it is a good ways to manage your less money. Allocate your moneys to important things such as food, beverages, your apartment fee, also your credit.

2. Make more money

This is a good ways to increase your money and cover your spending. Find another side jobs that you can do after working hours. One or two hours that you use to work may make dozen or hundreds money.

Writing is the way to make money from the internet. You can also participate at the paid survey but you should sure that the website pays you.

3.  Live below your mean

Do not live like other people that spend so much money. You can go to the office by mass transportation that can save hundreds dollar from it. You should not buy the food outside that can

4. Saving first

Though you just have little money, you can save your money from your salary. Try set a side money for saving about ten percent. You can deduct other spending so you can save for more money. When you get the unexpected income you can put it on your saving.

One day, your saving will become large and one day you will have more money.

How freelance make more money

The freelancer is a dream job for some people. The freelancer does not need to go to the office everyday. They can work whenever they want and wherever they want. A Freelancer is not similar to 9 to 5 slave who work from 9 am to 5pm. They do not have to punch absent card in absent machine or the company cut the salary.
Some people prefer becoming freelancer than the worker. They are free to express themselves. They can choose the boss who want pay them more. They do not have to do the jobs which If they do not like a boss they can serve other boss. Because of this, they are called as freelances.
Though, the freelancers do not receive monthly payment but they can get more money than an employee as log they can manage money well. They can save the money to investment or saving. A freelancer should save more money.
Being  a freelancer, you can make more money. On the other hand, the freelancer spending is not much as the employee. Here are the reason my freelancer make more money:

1. Despite the freelancer do not receive monthly salary, they can generate more money.
If they can get some project, they can make so much money. A Freelancer should be clever to seek out the jobs opportunities.  They can find at craigslist or internet that seek their service. They can also ask the friend or relative the service. 
The payment of the freelancer will increase when they have so much experience. For example: the experienced writer can get $40 each article easily, while, the amateur is difficult to get $5. Because of his, a freelancer should sharp heir skill and ability. They need to read more books and consult to the expert. They will get new knowledge
2. The freelancer does not need to pay high tax
In my country, most the online business has no pay the tax due the goverment has not yet to determine the tax laws. Some blogger who get thousand dollars have not yet paid the tax to the government. The government is going to create the freelancer income tax; however, the freelancers refuse it.  They said ha the government has not yet support the freelance jobs.
In my country or other underdeveloped country, the government has not create the freelance’s income law.

3. The freelancer has more time than the employee
An employee must work from 9 to 5. Sometimes the boss offers worktime to the employee. After arriving house, they must be tired. In my country, a worker could arrive home at 10 o’clock because the distance from the house to the office is so far or about 100 km. It takes three hours to arrive at the office. 
 As a freelancer, you have much time and you can use it to start the business. Do not waste your time for useless things. As a freelancer, you should be creative to make money. You can find another client who wants to hire your service. You can promote yourself on social media by posting your project. Tell them that you are able to do some project.  Some people who read your promotion may contact you soon or later.
You can also build a business too. While you have no project, you can care your business. The business may increase your income too.
Some mom can take care the kid and they do not have to go outside. They can stop the project for a moment when the baby cry and they can continue the work after the baby calm. The mom can generate more money and the baby grow health. Because of this, some mom prefer to work as a freelancer.
5. The Freelancer can stream more than one cash flow
An employee just receives one source income from the boss. Sometimes the boss gives also bonus and honor. Unlike the employee, a freelancer has no monthly salary but they get some money from the client. They can get money from various source, depending to what kind freelancers. A good freelancers can write a popular book, useful software, technology and else. The freelancer may stream the royalty from it. They can write a book or build a blog when they are free.
When they have no jobs, the freelancer can do some business. They can get money from the business. They can also offers maintenance service o he client. Sometimes a client meets the trouble with software or they want additional service from the freelancers. 
The freelancer should save more than employee can save. It is because they do not have pension fund. They can also stream income from investment such as stock dividend, mutual fund net asset value, capital gain and others.
6. The freelancer spending is lower
The freelancer do not need to go to office everyday.They do not need to buy gasoline for the car or they do not need to go to office everyday. They can slash $ 10 per day. They do not also pay the bus fare or bullet train ticket.  They can work at the house when they got jobs. They can meet the client when the work has done.
An employee need the nice shirt or uniform too; while, a freelancer does no have too. A freelancer can wear casual shirt that is cheaper than informal shirt.  An employee needs a good suite to attend the meeting or meet the client. They want looks professional by other people. A good suite price at least thousand dollars.
7. The freelancer lifestyle is llittle
The freelancer is very different with the employee. They do not have to play golf periodically or Visiting a gym like employee. Those activities need at least thousand dollars in a month. The freelancer does not need to register to any club.
The freelancer also does not need to eating out to talk with the client. He or she can talk with the client on chat, twitter, and e-mail. Sometimes an employee goes to the restaurant or café to celebrate the promotion.

How to generate money when you are between jobs

When the company decides to fire you in order to efficiency, you should make the step to find other jobs. Finding a jobs need time. Sometimes we should wait other jobs for years. Surely, waiting jobs is not a good activity. It makes you sick and wastes your times. Here are some activities that can make money while you are between jobs:

1. Find part jobs
Some people may offer mowing yard to the house that have large year. Perhaps the owner will be kind to you and give little dollar to you.
Visit the veterinaries near your house. He or she may need assistance to hold the cat or dog. The veterinary may need someone who wants to bath, sit, and walk with dogs.
2. Surf the internet
Some people dream get thousand dollar from blog or website. This a internet era where people can sell or buy through online. If you have no much money, you can sell other website stuff such as Amazon, eBay, and else. You can get 4% each you can sell the stuff.
There are some website that offers little dollar. Five dollar that you can get from the internet may be useful for buying some bread, milk, cookie, pampers, and others.
Some survey also pay you little dollar. It is not difficult to do that. You just choose or select the option.
3. Garage Sales
Having some useless items? Why do not you sell the items? It is better than let the items damage at your garage. Perhaps your family saves some antique stuff at the garage. Save the money from garage sales for food or transportation cost to find new jobs.
4. Volunteer
There are some non Government Organization that seeks the volunteer. You may work as volunteer to get paid five dollars a day. It is not much but you can get benefit by working as volunteer. You can add your volunteer work on your curriculum vitae or your portfolio. The company may appreciate the volunteer than unemployment.
5. Open a business
It is not wrong to start the business after the boss fire you. Old age is not a reason for you to stop trying. Why do not you start business from your hobby? Perhaps you have some toys or train.
Use your saving to open a business. Perhaps you will be success with business. Some people can be success after the boss fires them. Now, they have own business and employ some people.

Some people are afraid to hear "retirement" word. They are afraid that they can earn money like they works at the company. Some old man are stress hear the word while they must fulfill the daily necessity.
In my country, the social security does not work. Most employee do not receive the retirement when they retire. The worker must be work hard. Some of the retirement sale cigarettes or candy inside train or bus. If the police get them sale in train or bus, the police will arrest them.

Most retiree is the risk avoider investment. However, they may try invest at the risky investment to gain the revenue. Investing at bank account or certified of deposit is not good today. The interest is low and it could not protect you from high inflation.
3. Become landlord
Hiring some of the land. If you have many lands, you can hire to other people. Some people may use it for the crop field or farm that can generate revenue. You may share the revenue with the farmer. I think it is more profitable than charge the rent fee. This joint cooperation is also fair. When the crop yield increase, you will get more money and reversely.
If you have no land, you can hire the empty room for university student or worker. The cost of the room is about $ 400 a month.
4. Find smaller house
Some expert suggest to resize your house size when you retire. It could thrift some spending too due its small size. It does not need the expensive maintenance. The tax of small house is lower than the big house.

To generate money, people must sell something either stuff or service. An mechanic can get paid after repairing other people vehicle or machine. I have ever tried but it make me sick. The article at the website is the junk article. It well write but there is few knowledge. The payment is also low. We can withdrwaw the money after seeing 1000 articles. However, the website limits the ads that we can click up to five times only a day.

Some researcher want to research a subject such as marketing, politic, communication, finance and others. The researcher may give little dollar for it. It does needs hard work to do that. Answer the question that has been provided by the researcher. You just cross the option or answer the question with few words.
4. Affiliate marketing
Some people can sell other stuff on website or blog. It may not easy to collect dollar from affiliate marketing; however, you may try it. Create a good blog or website that has high traffic. You can use social networking such as facebook or twitter to generate money. The visitor may click the link and buy the stuff. Some blogger can generate dozen to thousand dollars from this way.
Making money by selling anything does not provide many options. Therefore, you are better to find money by selling anything that you have. You can sell your idea in the shape of proposal, book, e-book, blog and others.

The duty of college student is study. They have to get good GPA so they can apply jobs at any place. Some parent forbids the student works for money. They afraid the kid will not finish the college or university. Some students who works or open a business often stop studying. They think they do not need to finish the college or university because they have so much money. Their parent must be disappointed after they sacrifice so much money in college.
The student actually can make some money and enlighten the school cost. Some jobs do not disturb the college such as,
